It's Commencement time again: our hat's off to the Class of 2009
Student Affairs would like to congratulate the Class of 2009 as they take off for new adventures: some are headed to jobs, some for advance degrees, some are headed home and others for parts unknown. But they take with them a sense of accomplishment, a sense of purpose and an education that will open doors to their future.
If you're on campus, where can you get the best 'photo' to capture graduation? The Office of Facilities and Services has done some of the leg-work for you by creating an interactive Commencement map of prime photo locations on campus to help turn the big day into a "Kodak moment."

Emergency Dean Fund Established
The "Emergency Dean" has been an invaluable resource for Illinois students and families, 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, since 1970. The Emergency Dean Fund was created this spring to provide immediately available dollars for things like clothing for victims of a building fire, or plane fare for a student returning home for a funeral.
The Emergency Dean's ability to provide this support can make all the difference in a student's security and academic survival. Gifts to this fund will contribute to the welfare of all Illinois students. |
