Special Events Advisory Committee
Mission Statement / Committee Charge
The Special Events Advisory Committee reviews and makes recommendations to the Chancellor’s Special Event Advisory Committee regarding policies and practice related to the use of University premises and facilities. It advises facility managers and event organizers on rules and practices, potential risk factors, and other concerns for campus prior to event and/or space approval. The Assistant Vice Chancellor for Administration and Operations serves as the chairperson for the committee.

Time Commitment
The committee meets once each two calendar weeks, Thursdays at 2:00 pm, while the University is in session.
Term Limit
Student committee members will be appointed on a one-year term, and will have to reapply through the ISG committee selection process thereafter to serve a second year.
