Advancement & Alumni Engagement
The Office of Student Affairs Advancement works with our donors, alumni, and friends to bring support to the programs and services that provide students an extraordinary Illinois Experience. They also work with Student Affairs Advisory Council members, Campus Advancement, and the University of Illinois Foundation to match donors with Student Affairs programs that are meaningful to them.
Assessment and Planning
Assessment and Planning is charged to deliver services that support Student Affairs departments and University partners on assessment and planning needs.
Auxiliary, Health & Wellbeing
Auxiliary, Health and Wellbeing (AHW) delivers student services, providing housing, dining, health, counseling services, technology support, as well as engagement and entertainment facilities.
Budget and Finance
Budget and Finance is charged to deliver services that support Student Affairs departments on their budget and resource planning needs.
Dean of Students
The Office of the Dean of Students (ODOS) seeks to facilitate the integration of the academic experience of students with all aspects of university and student life. The office facilitates interactions among students, faculty, and staff to promote a campus climate that supports students' academic success and their personal and professional development.
Human Resources
Human Resources is charged to deliver services that support Student Affairs departments on human resource management matters.
Marketing and Communications
Marketing and Communications leads division-wide marketing and communications efforts to advance the mission of Student Affairs and enhance the division branding efforts to ensure successful engagement of students, staff, parents, donors, and other key constituents. The office also provides expertise to serve the diverse communication needs of the division concerning media relations and crisis communication.
Student Success, Inclusion & Belonging
Student Success, Inclusion & Belonging (SSIB) units provide support for students to reach their personal, academic, and professional goals through curricular and co-curricular engagement opportunities. SSIB is also built around the mission to support identity development of underrepresented students as well as to provide student social justice education and deliver cultural developmental services.
